Dr. Yong Lee knew from an early age that he wanted to become a psychiatrist. He loved both science and helping people, and psychiatry allowed him to pursue both passions. He earned his degree in Behavioural Biology from Johns Hopkins University, followed by his Medical Doctorate from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. After completing his internship in Internal Medicine at George Washington University Medical Centre in Washington, D.C., he finished his residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital’s renowned psychiatry program in Baltimore, Maryland.

Throughout his career, Dr. Yong Lee has worked with thousands of patients in various settings, including outpatient clinics, inpatient units, day treatment programs, and as a psychiatric consultant to other physicians. He spent many years working with veterans at the Arizona VA, an experience that deepened his commitment to helping individuals navigate their mental health journeys.
