With a background that spans school counseling, psychiatric nursing, and advanced nurse practitioner care, Cristina Lopez-Seiler, PMHNP-BC, brings a uniquely compassionate perspective to mental health. From an early age, she knew she was meant to serve others, especially within communities that are often underserved or misunderstood. That calling has guided every chapter of her career, and it’s present in every patient interaction she has today.
Education and Background
Cristina holds a BA in Psychology, a Master’s in Counseling, a BSN, and an MSN. Her professional journey began in school counseling, where she spent seven years supporting children and families in educational settings. That passion naturally evolved into psychiatric nursing, and eventually into outpatient mental health care, where she now helps patients find long-term balance, healing, and empowerment. Whether working in nonprofits, education, or medicine, her mission has always been the same: to walk alongside people through some of life’s most difficult seasons.

When she’s not in the clinic, Cristina enjoys spending time with her family, exploring nature, thrifting for hidden treasures, trying new foods and restaurants, and traveling. She values balance in her life, and she prioritizes self-care so she can show up fully for the people she serves. That commitment to her own wellness is something she encourages in her patients as well.
