Sarah Samsky, PMHNP, is a compassionate and experienced psychiatric nurse practitioner at Serenity Mental Health Centers’ Layton, UT location. With seven years of nursing experience and a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from the University of Utah, Sarah provides patient-centered care designed to address each individual’s unique mental health needs. Since joining Serenity in July 2022, Sarah has built a reputation for her thoughtful, evidence-based approach to mental wellness.

Before becoming a psychiatric nurse practitioner, Sarah worked in a rural medical-surgical unit as a CNA and registered nurse, where she developed a deep understanding of the connection between physical and mental health. This diverse background gives her insight into the challenges faced by patients with co-occurring medical and mental health conditions.

At Serenity Mental Health Centers, Sarah offers advanced treatment options, including TMS Therapy (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation), Ketamine Therapy, and Medication Management. When she’s not working with patients, Sarah enjoys spending time outdoors, taking full advantage of Utah’s natural beauty. A former ski racer and alpine ski coach, Sarah loves skiing in the winter and racing her Miata at local tracks in the summer.
