About Roselie Woodard, PMHNP

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

With academic training that spans psychology, human development, and nursing, Roselie Woodard, DNP, PMHNP brings a uniquely multidimensional perspective to mental health care. Her passion for this work began early in her academic journey and deepened through years of experience in behavioral health hospitals and outpatient clinics, where she saw firsthand how mental health challenges impact every aspect of a person’s life.

Education and Background

Roselie holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice in Psychiatric Mental Health from the University of Missouri–Saint Louis and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Goldfarb School of Nursing at Barnes-Jewish College. She also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Missouri–Columbia. That combination of psychology, developmental science, and advanced nursing gives her a deep understanding of the psychological, biological, and social dimensions of mental health, a perspective that sets her apart as a clinician.

Care Philosophy

Roselie believes that healing begins with feeling heard. Her approach is rooted in empathy, mutual respect, and collaboration, ensuring that each patient receives individualized care tailored to their unique needs and goals. She integrates evidence-based treatments with holistic principles, considering biological, psychological, and social factors in every diagnosis and treatment plan. She prioritizes patient education and shared decision-making, empowering individuals to take an active role in their mental health journey.

Personal Interests

Roselie’s dedication to understanding people extends well beyond the clinic. Her academic background in psychology and human development reflects a lifelong curiosity about what makes people resilient, and that curiosity continues to inform the compassionate, thoughtful care she provides every day.
