Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Patricia Gilliano, DNP, PMHNP-BC blends deep clinical expertise with a grounded, holistic philosophy rooted in the belief that healing happens when the mind, body, and spirit are treated as one.
Education and Background
Patricia earned her BSN from Gwynedd-Mercy University, completed graduate studies in nursing and business at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, and pursued post-graduate PMHNP training at Rocky Mountain University in Provo, Utah. She went on to earn her Doctor of Nursing Practice and is board-certified in psychiatric-mental health nursing through the ANCC. She is also certified in ketamine therapy and is actively deepening her expertise through Integrative Functional Psychiatry studies, always looking for new ways to restore balance rather than simply manage symptoms.
Care Philosophy
Patricia has a passion for working with patients navigating PTSD, complex trauma, mood disorders, postpartum depression, anxiety, OCD, and PANDAS. She has dedicated meaningful focus to Veterans and to patients experiencing the lingering effects of long COVID. Her approach is grounded in nutrition, sleep, and movement, and she believes that restoring these foundations is powerful.
Personal Interests
Patricia is a published author whose book, Frozen Shoulder Survival Guide, explores the connection between trauma, stress, and physical illness. She resides in Vilano Beach with her husband and four dogs and is a proud mom of three young men. Outside the clinic, she hosts a weekly wellness podcast about the mind-body connection in an accessible, encouraging style. She is an avid runner, Orange Theory member, and has competed in Jacksonville’s Gate River Run.
What to Expect
In sessions with Patricia, patients can expect to feel welcomed and heard by someone who brings clinical expertise and genuine warmth to every visit. She takes the time to understand your unique concerns, creating a space where you can share openly and feel confident in the care you are receiving. Patricia believes the best outcomes come from working together, building a plan that honors your individual needs and helps you move forward in a way that feels right for you.
