Education and background
Marcus earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Brigham Young University - Idaho. His clinical background includes serving as an RN clinical manager at Banner Health, where he led surgical teams, and completing an internship at Blue Water Psychiatry, where he built expertise in psychotherapy and pharmacology. That combination of surgical precision and psychiatric training gives Marcus a unique ability to approach mental health care with both structure and empathy.

Marcus believes that mental wellness goes beyond medication alone. His treatment philosophy emphasizes the importance of building a strong foundation through nutrition, sleep, physical activity, and other lifestyle practices that support lasting change. At Serenity, he offers advanced treatments such as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) therapy and ketamine infusions, alongside medication management.
He takes the time to collaborate with each patient on a comprehensive, individualized care plan, blending the latest evidence-based treatments with lifestyle coaching.
