Marci Bastien, DNP, is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner at Serenity Mental Health Centers in Biltmore, AZ. She provides expert patient-centered care for anxiety, OCD, depression, ADHD, PTSD, and other mental health conditions. 

After receiving her registered nursing degree, she continued her education and graduated from Arizona State University with a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in 2014. She then obtained her board certification as a psychiatric nurse practitioner. Since she has had the privilege of treating thousands of patients across California and Arizona. Advances in healthcare and ongoing discoveries between the brain, body, and spirit continue to inspire her work, but nothing compares to being present for the human experience of healing. She has stated, “Few experiences are more meaningful than witnessing a patient find relief- whether through restored hope, improved functioning or full remission of symptoms”. 

 Marci Bastien, DNP, believes the heart of her practice is establishing a therapeutic relationship. This begins by listening carefully and understanding each patient’s concerns, lived experience, and goals. She values working closely with patients to guide them through treatment with clarity, compassion, and respect. Sometimes walking through the door is the most difficult part of the process. She hopes that they ultimately feel supported, knowing they are in a safe environment where they feel heard and valued. 

Outside of work, Marci values time with family, friends, and her four-legged pups named Oliver and Matisse! She enjoys anything outdoors, and the grounding effect of nature – whether boogie boarding, biking, or bird watching.
