Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
With more than a decade of experience supporting individuals and families in crisis, Jeremy Gardner, MSN, PMHNP-BC brings a rare depth of compassion and clinical skill to every patient he sees. His interest in mental health was sparked as a teenager after watching a documentary about boys his age and their struggles, and seeing how life-changing skilled clinical support could be.
Education and Background
Jeremy began his healthcare career as a licensed practical nurse and registered nurse before earning his Bachelor’s in Nursing Science from Wilmington University in 2022. He then completed his Master’s in Nursing at Frontier Nursing University in Versailles, Kentucky. He is also a board-certified pediatric nurse, having gained invaluable experience at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, where he cared for medically complex and fragile infants and children.
Throughout his career, Jeremy has supported individuals through psychiatric crises in emergency rooms and inpatient facilities, and he has navigated care for patients and their families as a case manager. That wide-ranging experience, from pediatric bedside care to adult psychiatric crisis, gives him a perspective shaped by years of showing up for people during some of the most difficult moments of their lives.
Care Philosophy
Jeremy takes the time to understand each patient’s unique story and works collaboratively to build a treatment plan that helps them move forward with confidence. For Jeremy, there is no greater reward than engaging people in their mental health care and watching them achieve their full potential. His approach is grounded in empathy, persistence, and the belief that every person deserves a provider who won’t give up on them. Whether he’s working with someone navigating a new diagnosis or helping a patient through a difficult season, Jeremy brings genuine warmth and steady dedication to every visit.
Personal Interests
Outside of the clinic, Jeremy is an avid baseball fan who loves attending MLB games with his younger brother every summer. He’s also passionate about live music concerts and traveling to new cities and states. He’s visited 25 states so far and has his sights set on seeing the other 25 in the next few years.
What to Expect
In sessions with Jeremy, patients can expect a provider who is compassionate, dedicated, and genuinely invested in their progress. He creates a welcoming space where you can share openly and feel confident that your care plan is built around who you are and where you want to go.
