With over six years of nursing experience and a background spanning inpatient and community health settings, Elaina Wooten, PMHNP, brings a commitment to whole-person care and a passion for creating compassionate spaces where people feel safe to heal.
Education and Background
Elaina earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Marymount University and her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Missouri. Throughout her career, Elaina has worked not only as a clinician but as a systems-level advocate for mental wellness. She has helped hospitals implement policies that prioritize mental health for vulnerable populations, from enhancing suicide risk assessment protocols to ensuring that NICU parents have access to bedside mental health resources during some of life’s most difficult moments. That combination of direct patient care and advocacy work gives her a perspective that few providers bring to the room.
