Education and Background

Dr. Larson earned his undergraduate degree in Biology from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, WA, before completing his medical degree at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. He went on to complete his general psychiatry residency at Loma Linda University Medical Center in Southern California, followed by a two-year fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Harbor UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles. His extensive training gives him a deep understanding of the complexities of mental health at every stage of life.

Dr. Larson and his wife have called the Lake Mary, Florida area home for the past two years, and they’ve enjoyed exploring everything Central Florida has to offer. They love riding the area’s many bike trails and discovering Florida’s beautiful natural springs. A lifelong sports enthusiast, Dr. Larson has a background in tennis and pickleball, and enjoys watching soccer, football, and tennis. He is also a proud father of two sons who are currently pursuing their own paths in medicine as second-year medical students.
