Dr. Deborah Stegner, MD, is a board-certified psychiatrist at Serenity Mental Health Centers, where she has been part of the team for nearly eight years. With over 17 years of experience in the field, Dr. Stegner brings a depth of clinical knowledge that is matched only by her genuine compassion for the people she cares for.
Education and background
Dr. Stegner earned her medical degree from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center and completed her residency in general adult psychiatry at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. Before joining Serenity, she spent years as an attending inpatient physician at several award-winning hospitals in Denver, Colorado, gaining broad clinical experience across a range of complex psychiatric conditions. That foundation continues to inform the thoughtful, experienced care she provides today.

Dr. Stegner believes that for a patient to truly heal, there must be a strong therapeutic relationship, one that supports mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical wellness. Personal interests
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Stegner is the proud mother of two daughters. She enjoys interior design, DIY home projects, spending time with friends and family, and traveling. Whether she’s tackling a new renovation or exploring somewhere new, she brings the same creative energy and warmth to her personal life that her patients experience in every visit.
