Psychiatrist
A member of the Serenity team since 2019, Dr. Aaron Clay, DO, brings a diverse clinical background spanning outpatient, inpatient, intensive outpatient, and partial hospitalization settings. That breadth of experience allows him to meet patients wherever they are in their journey, with care that is both innovative and deeply personal.
Education and Background
A native of Arizona, Dr. Clay completed his undergraduate studies at Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from A.T. Still University in Mesa, AZ, and completed his psychiatry residency at Larkin Community Hospital in Miami, FL. Throughout his career, he has developed expertise in treating a wide range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, and ADHD.

Dr. Clay believes that lasting mental wellness starts with teamwork. He takes the time to understand each patient’s personal history, daily challenges, and goals, then works collaboratively to build a treatment plan that feels right for their life. His goal is to help each person build a foundation for lasting stability, empowering them to pursue their personal goals with confidence and hope.

Personal Interests
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Clay enjoys camping, hiking, gardening, cooking, and stargazing through amateur astronomy. His love for nature and wellness is a philosophy he carries into his practice, encouraging patients to find balance and restoration in the world around them.
