About Chandler Knight, PMHNP

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

With a strong background in both neuroscience and mental health, Chandler Knight, PMHNP, is passionate about going beyond symptoms to understand the root cause of what his patients are experiencing. He believes that every person deserves a treatment plan built around their unique story.

Education and Background

Chandler earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Georgia Southern University, where his passion for patient care first took root. While working full-time as a registered nurse, he furthered his education at Georgia College and State University, earning his Master of Science in Nursing and his Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certification. His clinical experience includes working in neuro-intensive care, where he gained firsthand insight into the connection between brain health and mental well-being.

Care Philosophy

Chandler’s approach to psychiatric care is built on meaningful conversations and a deep understanding of each patient’s story. Rather than placing people into a standardized treatment model, he seeks to uncover the “why” behind their symptoms, helping them regain control over their lives. He prioritizes comprehensive evaluations, medication management, and holistic mental health support, ensuring that each individual feels heard and supported at every step.

Whether someone is navigating anxiety, depression, PTSD, OCD, or another mental health concern, Chandler is committed to helping them find lasting relief through care that is personalized, evidence-based, and rooted in genuine partnership.

Personal Interests

Outside of the clinic, Chandler enjoys staying active, attending Atlanta Braves games, and cheering for the Georgia Bulldogs during college football season. He and his wife recently bought a home, where he keeps busy with DIY projects and spends time with their pets, Lucy the cat, Pip the hamster, and Millie the puppy. When he’s not at the gym or with his family, he looks forward to traveling and discovering new places.

What to Expect

Chandler understands that seeking mental health care is a big step, and he is here to make that step feel as comfortable as possible. In sessions with Chandler, patients can expect a provider who listens closely, asks thoughtful questions, and takes the time to build a plan that truly fits their life. He brings patience, expertise, and genuine care to every visit.
