About Dr. Paul Ferns, DO
Dr. Paul Ferns is a licensed psychiatrist at Serenity Mental Health Centers in Sandy Springs, Georgia. He provides personalized, evidence-based mental health care for individuals struggling with a wide range of conditions, including anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, PTSD, and bipolar disorder.
Dr. Ferns earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida and his medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) in Bradenton, Florida. He went on to complete his psychiatry residency at Cleveland Clinic Akron General in Akron, Ohio.
At Serenity, Dr. Ferns offers comprehensive psychiatric services, including medication management and advanced treatment options such as TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) therapy and ketamine therapy. He takes a holistic, patient-centered approach—building strong connections with his patients and creating individualized treatment plans that address their unique needs and goals.
Inspired by the stories of those he met during medical school, Dr. Ferns was drawn to psychiatry to support individuals facing some of life’s most difficult moments. His goal is to be a compassionate guide, helping patients move toward healing and hope.
