Originally from Saskatchewan, Canada, Dr. David Gibson chose a path into medicine that would bring him closer to people. Dr. Gibson earned his Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Genetics from the University of Toronto, where he also conducted early research exploring the potential protective properties of antipsychotic medications at the cellular level. He completed both medical school and his psychiatry residency at the University of Saskatchewan, where he served as Chief Resident. His background in scientific research continues to inform his evidence-based approach to patient care.

He’s also an avid sports fan who cheers for the Vegas Golden Knights, though he’ll admit his loyalties still lean toward his Canadian teams, especially the Edmonton Oilers. He also enjoys taking in the growing sports and entertainment scene that Las Vegas has to offer.
