Cristina holds a BA in Psychology, a Master’s in Counseling, a BSN, and an MSN. She is board-certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and provides care to patients ages 5 to 60. Her professional journey began in the world of school counseling, where she spent seven years supporting children and families in educational settings. That passion naturally evolved into psychiatric nursing, and eventually into outpatient mental health care, where she now helps patients find long-term balance, healing, and empowerment.

Cristina’s care philosophy is grounded in kindness, empathy, and collaboration. She approaches each patient with the goal of creating a therapeutic partnership—one that honors their story, goals, and individuality. She believes in holistic wellness and aims to treat the whole person, not just the symptoms. Her warmth, attentiveness, and gentle presence help patients feel seen and supported throughout their journey.

Her motivation to pursue mental health care runs deep. From an early age, Cristina knew she was meant to serve others, especially those within communities that are often underserved or misunderstood. With a natural ability to build rapport and earn trust, Cristina found her purpose in walking alongside patients through some of life’s most difficult seasons. Whether working in non-profits, education, or medicine, her mission has always been clear: to be a steady light and help people reconnect with the best version of themselves.

When she’s not in the clinic, Cristina enjoys spending time with her family, exploring nature, thrifting for hidden treasures, trying new foods and restaurants, and traveling. She values balance in her life, and after overcoming her own challenge with professional burnout, she now prioritizes self-care in order to show up fully for her patients.
